Visit Sidi bel Abbes Province

Sidi bel Abbes is a province in Algeria located on the western border of the country, just west of Oran. It is known for its picturesque landscapes and winding creeks that can be found all around. The area is also home to some important historical landmarks such as the Sidi Bel Abbes Mosque which dates back to the 9th century.

Two places of interest include Sidi Abdallah's tomb, a sacred pilgrimage site where many people come from all around to pay their respects, and the Sidi Brahim Batna which offers stunning views of Lake Oubeira.

An interesting historical fact about this province is that it was home to one of Algeria's most famous war heroes, Larbi Ben M'hidi during World War II who helped lead resistance against the French colonial rule in 1945.
