Discover Achiras
One of Achiras' main attractions is its fantastic network of hiking trails, ideal for experienced hikers and amateur adventurers alike. Visitors can take advantage of incredible wildlife sightings such as condors or armadillos whilst trekking through forests filled with eucalyptus trees, aromatic herbs and colorful wildflowers. The area around Achiras also offers plenty of opportunities for fishing, caving and horse riding enthusiasts.
The town itself has numerous charming churches with historical Baroque architecture that are worth exploring while in town; these include San Juan Bautista church which was built in 1790 or San Francisco Javier church which dates back to 1838. For those who prefer to take it easy after a tiring day outdoors there are many cafes serving traditional Argentinean cuisine as well as local artisan shops selling handmade crafts from around the region.
