Visit La Rioja


La Rioja is a province in Northwestern Argentina, known for its stunningly varied landscape featuring lush valleys and impressive mountains. It's home to some of the oldest settlements in the country, and it has an incredible archaeological heritage.

The provincial capital is the city of La Rioja, which offers visitors plenty to see and do. In addition, during colonial times it was a stronghold for Catholic missionaries who built several churches still standing today like Iglesia Nuestra Senora de Valvanera from 1765.
