Misiones is a province of Argentina located in the northeastern corner of the country. It is home to some of the most beautiful landscapes and wildlife in all of South America, including lush rainforests and impressive waterfalls. One particular tourist attraction is Iguazu Falls, which straddles both Argentina and Brazil. The thundering waters are one of the natural wonders of the world, providing breathtaking views from both sides. In addition to its stunning scenery, Misiones has an interesting historical background too. It was originally inhabited by indigenous Guarani people before becoming part Spanish colony during the 17th century - a period known as "the Jesuit Missions". Today, visitors can tour these missions which have been carefully preserved for hundreds of years, offering insight into life during this time period.
