Visit Santa Fe

The Santa Fe region of Argentina is located in the northeast corner of the country, and is known for its rich agricultural industry and natural beauty. The provincial capital, Santa Fe de la Vera Cruz, is a major port city on the mighty Parana River. With stunning colonial architecture, cobblestone streets and vibrant markets, it's a great place to explore on foot.

The province has plenty to offer tourists as well. The Parana Delta Biosphere Reserve is home to dozens of species of wildlife including pink flamingos and giant river otters. There are also numerous small islands in the delta that are perfect for swimming or fishing excursion. For more culture, travelers can visit Xavier Estate winery near San Javier for wine tasting tours and exhibitions showcasing local artisans' work.

For history buffs, Santa Fe was founded in 1651 by Spanish conquistador Juan de Garay making it one of Argentina's oldest cities by far; many original buildings still stand today thanks to their subsequent restoration efforts over the centuries.
