Visit Tierra del Fuego


Tierra del Fuego, located at the southern tip of South America, is an archipelago shared between Argentina and Chile. It is known for its stunning views of snow-capped mountains and glacial lakes that are surrounded by lush rainforests. A must-see tourist attraction in Tierra del Fuego is the Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego. This national park offers spectacular views of forests and beaches with unique wildlife including guanacos, foxes and birds. Another must-see spot is Lago Roca which is a breathtakingly beautiful glacial lake surrounded by pine trees that make up part of the Andes Mountain Range.

An interesting historical fact about Tierra del Fuego is that it was once home to a tribe called Selk'nam who were nomadic hunter gatherers who lived here for centuries until the mid 19th century when they were pushed out by colonizing settlers from Europe.
