The Erewan of Armenia is a stunning ancient city located in the southern part of the country. It is an important archaeological site that dates back to the 5th century BC and marks one of the most significant historic sites in all of Armenia.

Visitors to this ancient city will be mesmerized by its many ruins and artifacts, such as Erebuni Fortress and Museum, which houses a collection of ancient Armenian artifacts. Also nearby is Yerevan Zoo and Swan Lake, perfect spots for families to spend their day. The Arin-Berd fortress also stands here, standing since 8th century BC and providing visitors with breathtaking views from atop its walls.

An interesting historical fact about Erewan is that it was believed to have been founded by King Argishti I in 782 BC, making it one of the oldest cities in history. Today it serves as an important cultural center for Armenia's people who come together several times throughout the year to celebrate things like National Day or Passover at different locations throughout Erewan.
