Visit Lori Region


The Lori Region of Armenia is located in the northern part of the country and is known for its stunning mountain views, lush forests, and cultural heritage. The region is home to a variety of tourist activities such as hiking in Dilijan National Park and visiting the Monastery of Haghpat, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It also boasts four lakes: Parz Lich, Akna Lich, Tsovagyugh Lich and Gosh Lich.

An interesting historical fact about the area is that it was once part of Greater Armenia during the Middle Ages when it served as an important stop on trade routes from Asia Minor to Europe. Today visitors can explore centuries-old churches carved into rock formations, visit ancient fortresses like Odzun Fortress or take in spectacular mountain views from Togh Village.
