Visit Bimini


The Bimini islands of the Bahamas are a collection of small, beautiful islands off the east coast of Florida. They offer a pristine tropical paradise with sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and diverse marine life, from dolphins to manatees and all manner of sea creatures. There are plenty of activities for visitors to enjoy including fishing, snorkeling and diving in the blue depths.

Tourists visiting Bimini should check out Alice Town - home to quaint restaurants and local shops - or visit Big Game Club Marina where they can charter boats for trips out on the water. The island is also renowned for its historical significance; it is said that Christopher Columbus cited this area as part of his first voyage in 1492 when he set sail across the Atlantic Ocean. In addition, Ernest Hemingway lived here during the 1930s writing some of his most famous works such as 'To Have and Have Not'.
