Saint Lucy of Barbados is a beloved Caribbean island nation full of vibrant culture and stunning scenery. Located just east of the Caribbean Sea, Barbados is known as the "Little England" for its British colonial history. Saint Lucy is the most northerly parish in Barbados and home to some of its most beautiful beaches, lush forests and quaint towns. Visitors can explore Holetown, which was the first settlement established by English settlers in 1627, or explore Harrison's Cave, a magnificent limestone cavern filled with underground streams and pools.

For a more leisurely experience there are several spots to take in breathtaking views such as St Nicholas Abbey - an old plantation house dating back to 1658 or Farley Hill National Park with its spectacular panoramic vistas. Other popular attractions include Animal Flower Cave, where visitors can comfortably view natural sea anemones from dry land; as well as Morgan Lewis Windmill - an 18th century sugar mill that is still functional today! An interesting historical fact about Saint Lucy is that it was where Sir Grantley Adams founded his political party called Barbados Labour Party (BLP) in 1938 making him one of the founding fathers of modern day Barbados.
