Visit Brestskaya Voblasts’


The Brestskaya Voblasts' of Belarus is a unique region made up of wide woodlands, numerous lakes and rivers, and vast fields. It is located in the far southwest corner of the country and shares borders with both Ukraine and Poland.

Brestskaya Voblasts' has several popular tourist destinations worth visiting. The city of Brest is home to an 18th century fortress that saw action during Napoleonic Wars, World War I, and World War II. Visitors can also explore Belavezhskaya Pushcha National Park which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its large population of European bisons.

In addition to its natural wonders, there are also many interesting historical landmarks in Brestskaya Voblasts' such as Berestye Archeological Site which dates back to the 9th century when it was one of the main centers of early East Slavic culture. Another interesting fact about this region is that it was once part of Poland before being annexed by Soviet Union in 1939 following the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact.
