Discover Brest
Visitors to Brest can explore this city's rich heritage by visiting one of its many great monuments or landmarks. The 28-metre tall Flame of Victory monument commemorates those who lost their lives during WWII while at Town Hall Square visitors can view remains from old fortifications dating back centuries. Tourists can also visit several churches within Brest such as St Nicholas Cathedral which was built in 1520 or Franciscan Church which opened in 1750 and features original stained glass windows from Belgium.
