Homyel'skaya Voblasts' is a region located in southeast Belarus and the country's most populous province. It is known for its diverse culture, beautiful landscapes, and historical attractions. Tourists often come to explore its numerous architecture monuments and archaeological sites, as well as visit its many parks such as the Polesskiy National Park or Lake Naroch with its unique sandy beaches. One of the highlights of Homyel'skaya Voblasts' is the Preobrazhensky Monastery which houses a museum of folk art and artifacts.

Also worth exploring are some of Homyel'skaya Voblasts' oldest cities including Kamenets, Gomel, Rechitsa, Petrikovskoye and Mozyr where visitors can find an abundance of interesting historical buildings such as churches, fortresses and manors. An interesting fact about this region is that it was once part of Kievan Rus which was one of Europe's largest medieval states before it collapsed in 1240 AD. Thus there are plenty of historical sites scattered throughout the province making it an ideal destination for history buffs.
