Visit Vitsyebskaya Voblasts’


The Vitsyebskaya Voblasts' is a region located in the north-east of Belarus, bordering Poland and Latvia. It is known for its fascinating natural landscapes, resulting from the combination of lowlands and high hills. The city of Vitsyebsk is the capital, while Polotsk serves as one of its oldest cities.

Tourists are recommended to visit Braslaw Lakes National Park which is located in this region. This park consists of more than 120 lakes and rivers where visitors can enjoy a variety of recreational activities such as hiking, fishing, kayaking, sailing and bird watching. Another must visit site includes Mir Castle which was built in the 16th century by an influential noble family.

An interesting historical fact about this region is that it used to be part of Poland before it became a part of Belarus after World War II.
