The Atomium is one of the most distinctive landmarks in Brussels, Belgium. Designed by Andre Waterkeyn for the 1958 Brussels World’s Fair, this unique structure represents a unit cell of an iron crystal magnified 165 billion times. It stands at 102 meters tall and consists of nine interconnected spheres, symbolizing the concept of “Atoms for Peace” during the Atomic Age.

Visitors can explore the Atomium’s permanent and temporary exhibits, which focus on architecture and design. The top sphere offers a panoramic view of Brussels, providing a stunning vista of the city. The Atomium also houses a restaurant in its topmost sphere, offering a unique dining experience with a spectacular view.
