Visit Tsirang District


Tsirang District is a beautiful region of Bhutan, located in the south-central part of the country. It's known for its lush green forests, rice terraces, and spectacular mountain views. Popular attractions here include Dhur Tshechu, an annual festival held in the area; Chuming Lhakhang Monastery, a historic Buddhist temple perched on a hilltop; and Chipdrel Trekking Trail, which offers spectacular views of snowcapped mountains and rivers.

Tsirang is also home to some interesting historical sites like Baling Gompa Monastery and Wangchuck Centennial Park. The latter was established by the Royal family to commemorate 100 years of peaceful rule under the Wangchuck dynasty. Additionally, visitors can explore Tayul Goemba Monastery, one of Bhutan's oldest monasteries that dates back to 15th century CE.
