The North-West District of Botswana is a beautiful region full of natural beauty and cultural diversity. Situated in the heart of the Kalahari Desert, its landscape is characterized by grasslands and savannahs, as well as the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park with its salt lakes and wild animals. Tourists can explore traditional villages such as Toteng, Maunatlala and Xai-Xai or take a game drive to see elephants, zebras or other wildlife.

The Tsodilo Hills are an important archeological site where visitors can see ancient rock art paintings that are believed to be over 40,000 years old. Similarly D'Kar village nearby has become famous for its Bushmen rock carvings from the Stone Age period.

In addition to seeing these interesting sites from human history there are several natural wonders in this area such as Moremi Gorge which is one of world's deepest gorges measuring up to 500m deep at points along its length plus countless waterfalls situated around Serowe and Nata River Reserve. All in all it makes for an exciting destination where visitors will encounter both ancient cultures and incredible landscapes!
