The South-East District of Botswana is a vibrant and diverse region known for its spectacular wildlife, vast wilderness areas, and attractive tourist destinations. With the majestic Tuli Block in the north, to the rugged sandstone hills of Renosterberg in the south, this district is an adventure seeker's paradise.

A great place to begin your exploration of the South-East District is Francistown, Botswana's second largest city. Here you can explore ancient archaeological sites such as Fossil Lane or take a guided tour around Tati River Gorge to view incredible limestone formations.

For nature lovers, there are plenty of game reserves and national parks in the South-East District including Chobe National Park and Moremi Game Reserve. These locations are home to some of Africa's most iconic animals such as elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo and wildebeests.

Finally don't miss out on Palapye - a small town steeped in history with many fascinating stories to uncover from colonial times right up until today. It was here that British explorer David Livingstone famously camped during his travels across southern Africa in 1855!
