Visit Kardzhali Province


Kardzhali Province in Bulgaria is located in the southeastern part of the country, between the Rhodope Mountains and Eastern Rhodopes. The province is known for its stunning natural beauty and offers a variety of outdoor activities such as skiing, golfing, kayaking, fishing and hiking. It is dotted with many lakes, rivers, forests and caves that attract tourists from all over the world.

Kardzhali has a long history and rich cultural heritage. The ancient Thracian city of Perperikon can be found here, which dates back to 5th century BC. The Province also hosts an annual folklore festival called "Fesitval na Trakiiskite Plesove", where dancers perform traditional Bulgarian dances in colorful costumes.
