The Stara Zagora Province in Bulgaria is a region of great cultural and natural beauty. It is situated in a strategic location at the crossroads of Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia. The province offers many outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, skiing, and fishing in its many rivers and lakes.

Stara Zagora also has an interesting historical connection with revolutionary figure Todor Kableshkov who was born here in 1846. He became instrumental in leading several uprisings against Ottoman oppression during Bulgaria's national liberation struggle. Thanks to his efforts, he is remembered as one of Bulgaria's most important freedom fighters today.
