Discover Duncan

 
Duncan is a small city located on Vancouver Island in the country of Canada. As the "City of Totems," it's home to over 80 totem poles, making it one of the best places to experience First Nations culture. The city has a laid-back, relaxed atmosphere and its historic downtown core is filled with unique galleries and shops. It also has plenty of outdoor activities, such as hiking trails in nearby Cowichan Valley Regional District Park, which offer incredible views of rivers, lakes and mountains.

Those visiting Duncan are sure to enjoy The Quw'utsun' Cultural Centre which offers educational tours about local First Nations history and customs. Other popular attractions include the BC Forest Discovery Centre where you can explore a recreated turn-of-the-century logging camp and explore old preserved railway equipment or go for a ride on an authentic steam train. Lastly, no visit to Duncan would be complete without sampling some craft brews from one of its many microbreweries or enjoying some delicious produce from local farmers markets.
