The famous White Pass & Yukon Route railroad terminates here and visitors can travel along it to experience breathtaking views of mountains, glaciers, rivers, and valleys. The rugged landscape provides excellent opportunities for outdoor activities like hiking, mountain biking, snowmobiling and kayaking - just to name a few!
To get to know more about Whitehorse's past head over to one of its many museums such as MacBride Museum or S.S Klondike National Historic Site which will give you an insight into local history. A visit to Miles Canyon or Schwatka Lake should not be missed either; they offer great views with stunning scenery. Lastly don't forget Yukon Wildlife Preserve - where you have an opportunity to see Arctic animals up close!
