Discover George Town
George Town is the capital of the Cayman Islands and is located on Grand Cayman. It is home to a thriving financial services industry and some of the best beaches in the Caribbean. George Town has a population of about 30,000 people, making it one of the smallest capitals in the world. The city itself offers plenty to do and see, such as shopping along Harbour Drive or at Camana Bay, visiting historical sites such as Fort George or checking out Stingray City where you can swim with stingrays. There are also several museums to explore such as The National Gallery of the Cayman Islands and The Cayman Islands National Museum which houses artifacts from all over the Caribbean region. Visitors can also experience a range of outdoor activities like snorkeling on Seven Mile Beach, hiking up Mastic Trail or kayaking in Discovery Bay Marine Park. No matter what your interests are, George Town has something for everyone!
