Visit Fujian

Fujian is a captivating coastal province located on the southeastern seaboard of China. The province includes more than 4,000 islands and has a rich cultural heritage dating back thousands of years. It's renowned for its natural beauty and boasts some of the most stunning scenery in China, making it an ideal vacation destination.

One must-see location in Fujian is Gulangyu Island, often referred to as "Piano Island" due to its high concentration of musical instrument stores. This pedestrian-only island also features numerous colonial buildings left over from when it served as an international settlement during the late 19th century. Other notable attractions include Tingzhou Ancient Town and Wuyi Mountain National Park - both excellent places to explore traditional Chinese culture and enjoy nature at its finest.

Fujian has a long and fascinating history - perhaps most famously known for being the birthplace of Zheng He, one of China's greatest explorers who led seven massive maritime expeditions for the Ming Dynasty during the early 1400s. This legacy lives on today with impressive monuments dedicated to his life scattered throughout Fujian province.
