Discover Beihai
The city's main attraction is Silver Beach, a large beach that stretches several kilometers wide and has an abundance of unique silver sands. It's also home to many historical sites such as Beihai Park, one of China's oldest parks, and Jade Island Temple which dates back to 682 AD. Other attractions include a popular seafood market where visitors can sample all kinds of local delicacies and Zhongshan Road where visitors can find plenty of shopping opportunities.
Aside from all these attractions, Beihai is also renowned for its nightlife and vibrant cultural scene featuring everything from traditional Chinese music performances to modern dance clubs. There are also various festivals throughout the year for visitors to enjoy including the Dragon Boat Festival in May or June when locals honor their ancient ancestors by setting sail on dragon-shaped boats filled with gifts for them.
