Visit Guizhou

Guizhou is a southwestern province of China, located in the mountainous region between Yunnan and Sichuan. The landscape of the area is dominated by rolling hills and rugged mountain peaks, making it an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Popular tourist attractions include Huangguoshu Waterfall, one of the largest waterfalls in Asia, as well as Dragon Palace Cave, where visitors can marvel at multicolored stalactites and stalagmites.

The area has a rich history which dates back to Neolithic times. In fact, some of the oldest human remains ever found in East Asia were discovered near Guiyang city. Today, it's home to many ethnic minorities who live in rural villages scattered across its vast landscape. A visit to these villages offers travelers an insight into traditional customs that are often lost elsewhere in modern day China.
