Putumayo is a department in the South of Colombia, located near the borders with Ecuador and Peru. It's full of natural landscapes, like primary rainforest and mountain peaks, as well as rivers and lagoons. The capital city is Mocoa with its scenic views of rolling hills and nearby waterfalls.
The area has a unique culture where locals still practice ancestral traditions such as weaving or pottery making.
