Visit Villa Clara Province

Villa Clara is a province located in central Cuba, between the provinces of Cienfuegos and Sancti Spiritus. It is known for its beautiful and varied landscapes, such as the Escambray Mountains, the Elguea and Hanabanilla lakes, and stunning beaches along the Caribbean Sea. The province has a rich history; it was one of Cuba's seven original provinces in 1976 and is home to multiple key sites from the Cuban Revolution, such as Santa Clara where Che Guevara made his famous attack on a military train.

The capital city of Santa Clara offers many attractions for tourists who visit Villa Clara. Some popular tourist activities include visiting Camilo Cienfuegos Square in town center to see monuments dedicated to Cuban revolutionaries or taking a tour of historical sites related to Che Guevara's guerilla movement such as La Plata. Visitors can also explore outside of Santa Clara; some notable attractions include Playa Rancho Luna beach near Cienfuegos or Parque Natural El Nicho waterfalls near Trinidad. No matter what type of vacation you are looking for, there is something for everyone in Villa Clara!
