One must-see tourist attraction that is located in the Moravian-Silesian Region is Ostrava Zoo. This zoo has over 1,000 animals from all over the world including elephants and tigers. A fun activity to do at the zoo would be to take a Segway ride around its grounds! Another great spot to visit would be Opava Castle which was built in 1245 by Premysl Otakar I. It includes an impressive palace complex with striking towers and courtyards which offer stunning views of the region's landscape.
