Discover Albertslund

Albertslund is a city located in the western suburbs of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is known for its rich cultural heritage and vibrant, modern atmosphere. The cityscape ranges from urban areas with dense housing and commercial hubs to large green parks with plenty of outdoor activities. At the heart of Albertslund lies Skovhuset, one of the many castles that dot Denmark's countryside. The castle was built in 1590 to protect the town from intruders but has since been transformed into a thriving youth center and art museum.

If you're visiting Albertslund then you must take a trip to Tingbjerg Kirke (also known as St Lawrence Church). First built around 1400, it's an important historic landmark dating back over 500 years. You could also pay homage to Danish culture by attending one of their numerous classical concerts held at Sjaelso Theater and Cultural Center or visit one of the many events hosted at Torvet plaza throughout the year. Finally, make sure to take some time out to explore Furesoen lake which is home to several species of migratory birds each spring as well as offering great fishing opportunities for those looking for something extra special during their stay in Albertslund!
