Manabi is a province in the western coast of Ecuador, located between the provinces of Esmeraldas and Guayas. It is known for its beautiful beaches and majestic mountains. Its capital city is Portoviejo, one of the most populous cities in the country.

The province has a variety of landscapes and activities to offer all kinds tourists. Manabi also holds an important role in Ecuadorian history since it was founded by Captain Francisco Pacheco who named it after his mother's name Manaba Makanchivi in 1535 making him the first discoverer from Spain to arrive here!
