Visit Centro Sur Province

Centro Sur Province is one of the seven provinces of Equatorial Guinea, located in the south-central region of the country. Centro Sur is bordered by Litoral Province to the north, Kie-Ntem Province to the east and south, and Wele-Nzas Province to the west. Its capital city is Ebibeyin.

Centro Sur is home to incredible natural sights like Moka Bata National Park where you can see gorillas, chimpanzees and other primates in their natural habitat. There are also spectacular waterfalls like Bosio Falls that cascade down steep cliffs into a picturesque pool below.

The history of Centro Sur is tied to its colonial past; it was originally part of Spanish Guinea before it became independent as Equatorial Guinea in 1968. The province's main economic activity is agriculture with cocoa being an important crop - so much so that there's an annual Cocoa Festival!
