Visit Litoral Province

The Litoral Province is a region located in the West African country of Equatorial Guinea. With a population of over 600,000 residents, it is home to some of the most important cities in the country such as Bata and Rio Muni. Its coastal location makes it an ideal base for exploring its many beaches and estuaries. The province also offers plenty of opportunities for tourists to explore its tropical rainforests, jungles, and lush vegetation.

Two must-see tourist destinations within the Litoral Province are Malabo National Park and Corisco Island. Malabo National Park has over 1 million hectares of flora and fauna that can be explored ranging from freshwater crocodiles to elephants while Corisco Island boasts stunning views with white sand beaches fringed by palm trees.

An interesting fact about Litoral Province is that it was once part of Spanish Guinea before gaining independence along with the rest of Equatorial Guinea in 1968. It then became one of two provinces in 1975 during a reorganization process; today they are seven provinces.
