Visit Hiiu County


The Hiiu County of Estonia is a rural area full of natural beauty, historical charm and vibrant culture. Located on the west coast of the Baltic Sea, it is home to some of the most spectacular beaches in Estonia, making it an ideal destination for summer holidays or a weekend getaway.

A popular tourist attraction in the area is Kassari Island which boasts stunning white sand beaches and rich wildlife. On the south side of the island lies an old abandoned stone fortress that was built by Swedish-Finnish settlers back in 1564 during their occupation of Hiiu County - providing a fascinating insight into its past.
