The Ethnological Museum, located in the heart of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, is a captivating institution that offers deep insights into the country’s rich cultural and social history. Housed in the former palace of Emperor Haile Selassie, the museum is set within the beautiful grounds of Addis Ababa University, making it a must-visit attraction in the city.

Visitors to the Ethnological Museum can explore a wide range of exhibits that showcase Ethiopia’s diverse ethnic groups. The museum’s collections include traditional musical instruments, religious icons, and an array of historical artifacts. One of the highlights is the Emperor’s bedroom, left as it was during his time, providing a glimpse into the personal life of this influential figure. The museum’s garden is also a tranquil spot, featuring indigenous plants and a turtle pond.
