Visit Pebble Island
The Pebble Island region of the Falkland Islands is located in the southwest corner of the archipelago. This picturesque area is known for its rugged terrain, dramatic cliffs and sandy beaches. Within the island are a few small settlements, including Stone Point, Port Stephens and San Carlos.

In 1982 it was an important site during the Falklands War when British forces staged air raids from here on Argentine troops at Port Stanley. Visitors today can tour some of the abandoned military sites scattered around the island or visit Samuel Fisher's Monument which commemorates his death while protecting this same land during World War I.
