Labasa is a city located in Fiji on the island of Vanua Levu. It lies near the mouth of the Labasa River and is one of the largest cities in Fiji with a population over 30,000 people. The city has a tropical climate with temperatures ranging from hot to very warm throughout most of the year. Its economy is fueled by sugar cane production, and its downtown streets are lined with colonial-style buildings built during British rule.

Labasa offers visitors a range of activities to enjoy such as exploring nature reserves, snorkeling off nearby beaches and indulging in local cuisine at eateries around town. Tourists can get up close to local culture by visiting Natuvu Creek which features an ancient Hindu temple and sacred burial grounds or take part in traditional ceremonies at Talanoa Village's Fijian ceremonial ground known as Na Bure Ni Loloma.
