Kittila is a municipality in the far North of Finland located in the Lapland region. Kittila is surrounded by magnificent landscapes, forests and fells perfect for outdoor activities such as skiing, fishing, hiking and camping. It boasts some of Finland's best ski resorts, such as Levi and Yllas.

The main attractions in Kittila include the Sami culture village at Luosto that covers topics like Sami history and traditions, Kieppi Reindeer Farm where one can learn about reindeer herding while riding reindeers or sleds pulled by huskies, and the Northern Lights Observatory at Sodankyla where visitors can watch auroras from special observatories.

For those looking for family-friendly fun there are several recreational parks to explore including Snowland Adventure Park with its snow tubing lanes and ice skating rink as well as Santa Claus Village with its amusement park rides, Santa Claus office & post office where letters are sent off directly to Santa himself! Lastly don't forget to check out local shops such as gallery & cafe Karhunpesa located next to Luosto Church or visit one of Kittila's many museums including the Gold Prospector Museum which exhibits gold mining tools from past centuries.
