Point of Interest half day

La Petite Venise, or “Little Venice,” is a charming district located in the city of Colmar, France. This picturesque area is characterized by its quaint, half-timbered houses, vibrant flower displays, and serene canals, which have given it the nickname of Venice. The district is a favorite amongst visitors for its unique blend of French and German architecture, reflecting the region’s rich history.

While in La Petite Venise, visitors must take a leisurely boat ride along the canals to fully appreciate the beauty of the district. The local market, Marche Couvert, is another must-see, offering a variety of local products such as cheese, wine, and fresh produce. The district is also home to the Bartholdi Museum, dedicated to the French sculptor who designed the Statue of Liberty.

Enorme coup de coeur!! A découvrir à pied…ou en barques le long des canaux.

Les belles façades colorées des maisons à colombages, le calme de la Lauch, beaucoup de fleurs : superbe quartier coup de coeur!
