Discover Millau

 
Millau is a commune located in the Aveyron department of southern France. This small city of about 18,000 people is situated on the banks of the Tarn River. The town is known for its old-world charm and its modern features, most notably its world-renowned Millau viaduct bridge.

The bridge itself is an amazing feat of engineering and stands as a symbol of modern achievement. It was designed by British architect Sir Norman Foster and spans nearly 2 kilometers across the valley below it with a central tower rising 343 meters above the riverbed below, making it one of tallest bridges in the world.

Other attractions that Millau has to offer include historic sights like Saint Michel Church or Les Cascades de la Tour which are ancient waterfalls and rock formations carved into limestone during prehistoric times await your visit near Millau's city center.
