Notre Dame de la Daurade is a prominent basilica located in the heart of Toulouse, France. Originally a pagan temple, it was transformed into a church in the 5th century and has undergone several reconstructions throughout history. The current structure, built in the 18th century, is known for its neoclassical facade and the venerated Black Madonna statue.

Visitors to Notre Dame de la Daurade can marvel at the stunning interior, adorned with gold leaf decorations and intricate frescoes. The highlight of the visit is undoubtedly the revered Black Madonna, a wooden statue painted in black, known for its miraculous powers.
