Discover Fréjus

Frejus is a small city located on the French Riviera, in the department of Var in southeastern France. It is a popular tourist destination and has been around since Roman times. The Mediterranean climate offers warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine throughout the year.

The historic centre has many well-preserved monuments from its past, such as the Cathedral of St-Leu (Saint Louise) built in 12th century; it houses valuable artwork from different eras such as painting and sculptures. The Roman Amphitheatre located near Place Lesage is also an impressive site with its semi-circle structure still intact.

Visitors can enjoy swimming or tanning along Frejus's beautiful sandy beaches or spend time exploring its picturesque fishing port where there are several restaurants serving fresh local seafood specialities. Stroll around Old Town to discover small boutiques that sell handmade products and souvenirs while admiring the typical Provencal architecture all around you. And don't forget to visit La Baume Cave, one of Europe's largest natural caves with breathtaking formations inside!
