Discover Gap

Gap is a commune in southeastern France, located in the Hautes-Alpes departement in the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur region. With its mild climate and beautiful mountain scenery, it has been a popular tourist destination since medieval times. The city of Gap is surrounded by five mountain ranges: the Devoluy, the Massif des Ecrins, Mont Jales de Lusernes, Chabrieres and Rancoules.

One of Gap's most famous attractions is its 16th century castle which houses a museum displaying artifacts from local history. Visitors can also explore the old town center with its quaint cobblestone streets as well as an abundance of shopping opportunities. For nature lovers, there are several trails to explore within the nearby national park where you can witness stunning landscapes and wildlife such as ibex and marmots.

Another must-see experience while visiting Gap is to take part in one of their annual festivals like La Fete du Parc National or Le Festival Jazz et Musique Contemporaine de la Vallee de l'Ubaye - both offering music and entertainment on an open air stage in front of some breathtaking views!
