Discover Durbach

 
Durbach is a small city located in the southwest corner of Germany, about an hour and a half drive from the French border. The city is surrounded by vineyards, and it's known for its wine production. Durbach is also known for its picturesque medieval old town centre which features winding cobblestone streets lined with traditional half-timbered houses and shops. Visitors to Durbach can experience some of the best that German culture has to offer while exploring this charming city.

When visiting Durbach, one must take time to explore the stunning Palace Gardens of Schloss Fasanerie which dates back to 1750. With sprawling lawns, fountains, rose gardens and ponds filled with swans, it's an idyllic spot perfect for picnics or strolling around admiring the manicured grounds. Additionally, visitors should take a short ride up the nearby Burgberg Mountain where they can enjoy spectacular views of the Rhine Valley below along with remnants of several castle ruins dating back centuries ago. Finally make sure you visit one or two wineries in Durbach so that you can sample some delicious local wines from this renowned region!
