Discover Flörsheim

 
Florsheim is a small city in Hessen, Germany. It's located on the banks of the Main River and is only 20 miles away from Frankfurt. The city has an interesting history that dates back to 890 AD and it's home to a few quaint attractions for visitors to explore.

The Fohrenburg Castle is one of the top attractions in Florsheim and it offers great views over the nearby landscapes. The castle was originally built during the 14th century and has been renovated many times over its long history. Visitors can walk through its grounds, admire its turreted towers and learn about its history at the museum inside.

The old town centre of Florsheim is a charming place to wander around, with cobblestone streets lined with colourful buildings, shops selling local specialities like wine or cheese, as well as plenty of cafes offering both traditional German food and international cuisine. There are also two churches here - St Nicholas Church which dates back to 1350 AD, and St Salvator Church which hosts regular services as well as concerts throughout the year.
