Visit Brong-Ahafo Region


The Brong-Ahafo Region is located in the middle of Ghana and is one of the country's most culturally diverse provinces. While it has some incredible natural beauty, this region also has a number of historically significant sites. One popular tourist attraction is the lake Bosomtwe, which features an ancient crater lake filled with fish and several species of birds. Another must-see destination in Brong-Ahafo Region is the Tano River, where tourists can experience traditional local fishing techniques that have been used for centuries.

History buffs will enjoy visiting Techiman, which was once a military training camp during World War II.
