Santa Rosa of Guatemala is a municipality in the Suchitepequez region located on the pacific coast. It is an important historic area with many attractions that are worth visiting. Some of these attractions include the Santa Rosa National Park, which is home to several species of monkeys and other wildlife, as well as lush forests and stunning beaches.

Those interested in history will also find plenty to explore here. Santa Rosa was once one of the first provinces in Central America established by Spanish conquistadors, and there are still traces of colonial era architecture around town. In addition, it was also once a major hub for coffee production at the beginning of the 20th century--a period known as "El Oro del Cafe" (The Gold of Coffee).

Popular tourist sites include La Tintorera Beach, a black sand beach surrounded by steep cliffs which makes it a great spot for snorkeling; El Baul Artisan Market where visitors can find local crafts; and La Casa de las Sirenas (The House of Mermaids), an old colonial style building now converted into a museum dedicated to local art and culture.
