Visit Nord

The Nord of Haiti is a stunning region located in the northern part of the Caribbean country. It's home to some of the most beautiful coastal spots on the island, including Cap-Haitien, Cote de Fer, Labadie and Tortuga Island. Along its beautiful sandy beaches, you can take part in exciting activities such as snorkeling, windsurfing and fishing.

In addition to its natural beauty, the Nord also offers many historical attractions to explore. The Citadelle Laferriere is one of Haiti's most impressive landmarks; an enormous fortress built with stones by slaves and said to be impenetrable during colonial times. The Sans Souci Palace was another major highlight constructed by King Henry Christophe between 1810 and 1813 as his home base in Haiti.

If you're looking for a unique experience while visiting the Nord region then look no further than La Chute de Dunand waterfall located near Cap-Haitien city. This powerful cascade is perfect for swimming or simply enjoying a peaceful picnic surrounded by lush tropical vegetation.
