Visit Hajdú-Bihar County

Hajdu-Bihar County is an administrative county of Hungary located in the northeast of the country, sharing a border with Romania. The county is known for its rich history and culture, as well as its beautiful landscapes and diverse wildlife.

Popular tourist attractions in Hajdu-Bihar include the Gonczol Castle, which dates back to the 12th century and has been carefully restored over the years; Hortobagy National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site that is home to Hungary's largest protected grassland; and Debrecen Zoo & Amusement Park, one of the largest amusement parks in Central Europe.

The area also has a long and interesting history - it was once part of the Great Hungarian Plain during medieval times and played an important role during World War II when it was occupied by Nazi Germany.
