Discover Cuncolim

Cuncolim is a small city located in the south Indian state of Goa. It lies on the banks of the River Sal, and has a population of around 21,000 people. The city has an old-world charm, with its Portuguese-style architecture and narrow winding roads.

The main attraction in Cuncolim are its traditional festivals - such as Sao Joao, which is celebrated with great pomp and cheer every June. During this time, locals gather to sing and dance in public squares until late into the night. Other popular festivals include Diwali and Christmas, when many locals light up their homes with diyas (oil lamps) to celebrate the occasion.

For those looking for a more cultural experience while visiting Cuncolim can take an evening stroll through the old quarter or visit some of its historical monuments such as St Anne's Church or Colva Fort. One can also head over to one of its many local markets where they could pick up some fresh produce or buy handmade souvenirs from local artisans!
